Trunk Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands
When it comes to winter getaways, it’s hard to go wrong with the Caribbean. The U.S Virgin Islands have long been known as the go-to destination to enjoy some well-deserved pampering. Our favorite beach is Trunk Bay, St. John. This little piece of heaven offers warm, crystalline waters – perfect for snorkeling and underwater photography. Looking for a bit of adventure? Explore the historic sugar plantations or take a hike – literally – through one of the park’s fun trails. Finish off the day with a cocktail in hand and the most breathtaking view!
The Baths, Virgin Gorda
Truth be told, we really are suckers for a tropical vacation. And after careful selection, Virgin Gorda also made the list. What can we say, we’re pirates at heart and The Baths’ grottoes bring the kind of excitement we love. Feel like a true explorer amidst the maze of its volcanic boulders. Don’t forget to snap a few Instagram-worthy pictures of the mesmerizing, turquoise waters.

Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda
We like to be thorough in our research, so we picked a spot for every type of guy and gal out there. Horseshoe Bay is our suggestion for those who prefer a tranquil vacay. This beach is ideal for families with young kids since the shallow waters allow for safe fun in the sun. Enjoy snorkeling and discover the diverse marine creatures awaiting for you underwater. But if you decide to look for a little excitement, fret not! Bermuda guarantees a wide range of activities such as sailing, golf courses and tennis for an action-packed holiday.
Mauna Kea Beach (Kauna’oa Bay), Hawaii
You say beach and we say Aloha! Mauna Kea always makes the list as one of the top 10 beaches in the world – it’s easy to understand why. Perfect white-sand, good snorkeling areas, and the opportunity to spot whales. We kid you not! Bring along your binoculars, but make sure to stay safe during the winter months. Don’t go too far out because the rough waves are better left for the surf pros!
